Download detailed instructions for the NERCE Fellowships Grants RFA
An important component of NERCE is the Career Development program, whose aim is to recruit investigators at the early stages in their careers into research related to biodefense and emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases. The program targets two potential groups of young investigators: Ph.D. basic scientists at the postdoctoral fellow level, and physician-investigators with either M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degrees at the fellow or instructor level. Awardees will be provided a full salary stipend for 2 years to support training in basic science, clinical/translational research, or industrial rotations and internships.
